Self-Supporting Installation

For this type of installation, the panels lay directly on the pedestal heads. Without stringers, the access to the underfloor space is easier and quicker.

The self-supporting installation is recommended for access floors not exceeding a finished floor height of 500 mm.

Installation with Stringers

For this type of installation, panels lay on metallic stringers.

Stringers are used :

for finished heights greater than 500 mm
for raised floors which are not surrounded by walls, or which have to take loads with frequent removals.
For important point loads or distributed loads.
For raised floors including a large number of cut-outs.

In all cases, stringers have been designed for quick disassembly and reassembly.
