Oslo waterworks: Raised access floor for OneCo

Raised Floor solutions for both large and small technical installations, tailored to the specific requirements and layout of each individual room.

About the Project

Blix Raised Access Floor delivers Raised Floor solutions to OneCo in connection with technical rooms at Oslo Waterworks. The project is ongoing and includes engineering, delivery and installation across multiple rooms with varying layouts and complex technical requirements. Each room receives a solution specifically adapted to the installations it will house, ensuring safe and efficient access to services beneath the Raised Access Floor.

In several rooms, custom-engineered steel frames are being developed and installed for larger technical installations. These frames are designed to support heavier equipment while ensuring easy access to cabling and services beneath the installations. The frame system is continuously adapted to accommodate cut-outs, cable trays and larger service runs, enabling precise integration between the Raised Floor and the technical infrastructure in each room.

To ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination, 3D BIM is actively used during the engineering phase. This provides the necessary overview of installations, layouts and service routing as the project develops, reducing the risk of clashes and rework on site. The delivery includes floor panels with surface finishes, as well as a steel support system and custom frames. Blix Raised Access Floor manages the entire execution with in-house resources, from engineering and 3D BIM modelling to transport, installation and final handover.
